Through their personal experiences of inadequate service delivery and other governance issues they encountered, instead of confronting these as individuals they opted to express their political consciousness and activism as a collective in order to establish a movement that will best represent their shared values, principles and ideas.
This movement strongly promotes active citizenry. That a liberal, progressive and social democracy can be utilized to bring out the best of South Africans through equal opportunities, without of course overlooking the legacy of injustices and inequalities of the past that continue to curtail the progressiveness of this country – a generational mission that was enacted by our forebears.
