APEMO Gears up for a By-election

The leadership of the African People’s Movement, that is the Interim National Executive Committee (INEC), has demonstrated  full support and confidence on its young candidate Zakhele Zungu to lead Ward 11 of Nongoma Local Municipality.

The by-elections will be held on the 5th of April 2023 and Zungu is confident that this will be a landslide win for the movement as he has been selfless in his services to the community members; who came out in their numbers when he called for a meeting to articulate his manifesto which was well received and applauded.

It is beyond any reasonable doubt that the African People’s Movement believes in the capability of young people to lead. That investment on its youth ensures the longevity  of the movement and most importantly  sustainabilty of its policies.  Zungu’s win will make him the 2nd youngest Councillor of APEMO in KwaZulu-Natal after Cllr Dlamini of Ward 01 at Okhahlamba Local Municipality.

Zakhele Zungu, raises his fist as a pledge to serve the people in his ward.
